Flow- and quantitymeters, such as gasmeters, fuelmeters and electricitymeters, are calibrated by comparing their yield with the yield of
a high-precision "standard" meter. To automate this calibration process, most meters are equipped with a pulse output or
a black&white optical disk for an external optical detector.
The ConSensus® Pulse Counter Calibration system consists of hardware and software
that automates the calibration process of e.g. flow meters. It interfaces to the pulse meters and sensors through specially designed
intelligent DIN-rail modules and controls the fan and valves through 20mA outputs. All calibration data is stored in protected files,
and exported to MsExcel through a fully flexible and programmable reporting interface.
